I so appreciate the line “quietly carry embers of change” — that line and your post generally caused an image of the Greek goddess Hestia to arise in me, as she nurtured the hearth flame as a quiet, steady source of warmth, homecoming, and transformation.
I love that my words evoked such imagery! And, this gives me yet another portrait paint with words as I curate stories of quiet power.
I love you! And I miss you!
Also, I’m reading a lovely book called The Light Eaters, and the author, Zoë Schlanger, tells stories of her experience in the Hoh Rain Forest. My favorite thing about that - memories of you! 💖
Thank you for sharing my invitation, Gwyneth! This has been bubbling up inside me for quite some time. You gave me the courage to just start… small, even though it’s scary. 💖
What a beautiful gift!
